Jay Blatchford
Chapter President
Jay holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a concentration in HVAC&R. He has over 12 years of experience in the commercial air conditioning and energy management industry. Jay was a member of the Cal Poly student ASHRAE branch which contributed to his concentration and future employment in the HVAC&R industry. In his free time he enjoys golf, snow sports, and tinkering with cars.
Matt Killough
Chapter Vice President
Matt holds a B.S. in Construction Management & a A.S in Drafting & Design. He has been part of the Sierra Delta ASHRAE chapter since 2012. He has served in all the officer chairs. Matt was an HVAC designer for 7 years. For the past 4 years he has been working in the ammonia refrigeration industry as an industrial refrigeration design draftsman. On his free time he enjoys working on his car, going to the coast and watching movies.

James Brugger
Chapter Treasurer
Jim has been in the HVAC industry for nearly 30 years and is currently the Director of Campus Engineering Services at UC Merced. Jim first joined ASHRAE as a member of the Student Branch at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and values outreach and education and actively promotes the HVAC industry to engineering students. To this end, he has served as Student Activities Chair with the Golden Gate and Sierra Delta Chapters and is currently the Student Branch Advisor for the new Student Branch at UC Merced.
